What is Marketers in Consulting?

That’s why we created Marketers in Consulting – a monthly peer group where you don’t have to navigate it all alone.

Led and facilitated by Matt Hodkinson, our Specialist Marketing and Positioning Advisor and founder of TGO, this is a forum for the marketers within our community to share insight, build capability and solve real-world marketing challenges, all in a structured, high-impact format.

Who is it for?

Marketers in Consulting is available exclusively to Corporate and Advisory members of The Consultancy Growth Network. It is designed for the individual in your business who is responsible for marketing – whether a dedicated marketing lead or a partner with marketing responsibilities. Whether you’re flying solo or part of a small team, this is your space to connect, learn and grow alongside others who truly understand your world.

How does it work?

Each month, the group meets for a 90-minute virtual session focused on a key area of consultancy marketing – such as LinkedIn campaigns, event promotion, email strategy or thought leadership. There are also frequent “critique sessions” where the group runs the rule over recent or planned marketing assets and activity; designed to ensure maximum impact and performance.

Each session includes:

  • an accountability check-in, to ensure members are taking action from month to month, and making progress in their marketing maturity journey
  • a deep dive on a focused topic to build capability and raise your marketing maturity
  • a hot seat mastermind where members bring live challenges or opportunities for group input
  • implementation-ready insights and examples from real consultancies.

Sessions are highly practical, combining expert insight with peer-led problem-solving. You’ll leave each session not just with ideas and plans, but with renewed energy, clarity, and the reassurance that you’re heading in the right direction.
